Allied Health Professions Day aims to improve awareness, and promote the fourteen professions who deliver high quality care across the nation. Osteopaths are recognised AHPs, and have been since their recognition in 2017, who have a clear view on reducing pressure in key areas in NHS healthcare.
Being part of a family of other health professionals is a real privilege, whether we directly or indirectly refer to each other, a team work approach really does offer the best outcomes for patient care. Below is a list of those who belong to AHPs, where 13 out of 14 are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council, and Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council.
